1. About Flagstick

Flagstick (flagsticks.ca) is an online platform that allows golfers to search, discover, and book tee times at public golf courses across Ontario, Canada. Flagstick is a registered sole proprietorship operating under the business name Flagstick, owned by Ryan Halliday, based in Ontario, Canada.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Flagstick, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to book tee times on Flagstick. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and make bookings.

4. Bookings and Payments

When you book a tee time through Flagstick, you are entering into an agreement with the golf course. Payment is processed securely through Stripe at the time of booking. All prices are displayed in Canadian dollars (CAD) and include applicable taxes where noted. Flagstick may charge a platform fee per booking which will be clearly displayed before you confirm your reservation.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation policies vary by golf course and will be displayed before you confirm your booking. Generally, cancellations made more than 24 hours before your tee time are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours of your tee time may be subject to a cancellation fee. No-shows will be charged the full booking amount. Flagstick platform fees are non-refundable once a booking is confirmed.

6. Course Operator Accounts

Golf course operators may claim their course listing on Flagstick by submitting a verification request. Operators must provide accurate information and are responsible for keeping their tee time availability and pricing up to date. Flagstick reserves the right to remove or suspend operator accounts that provide false information or violate these terms. Operators grant Flagstick the right to display their course information and tee times on the platform.

7. Accuracy of Information

Flagstick strives to display accurate tee time availability and pricing. However, we cannot guarantee that all information is current or error-free. Tee time availability is subject to change. In the event of a pricing error or unavailability, Flagstick reserves the right to cancel the booking and issue a full refund.

8. Limitation of Liability

Flagstick acts as a booking platform and is not responsible for the quality of golf course facilities, services, or experiences. Flagstick is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our platform or from any booking made through it. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid for the booking in question.

9. Privacy

Your use of Flagstick is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We collect and use your personal information to facilitate bookings, send booking confirmations, and improve our service. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Payment information is processed securely by Stripe and is not stored on our servers.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
